ADvTech says basic earnings per share will be up in H1

ADvTech (ADH:JNB) expects an increase in earnings per share for the first half of its fiscal year ended 30 June. The Johannesburg, South Africa-based company issued a voluntary trading statement on 14 August.

The company said it expects to report basic earnings per share are up between 13% and 18% from the year-ago period to be between ZAR 0.954 (USD 0.052) and ZAR 0.996 (USD 0.055). In the comparative period, basic earnings per share were ZAR 0.844 (USD 0.45).

ADvTech expects to release results on 26 August.

The company provides education services as well as recruitment in IT, finance, engineering and supply chain.

Share Price

Shares in ADvTech closed up 1.73% to ZAR 3,054.00 (USD 169.3) in South Africa on 14 August. They were 2.37% below their 52-week high.
