24 Seven acquires IT solutions and staffing firm Core Resources

Staffing provider 24 Seven acquired Core Resources, a Toronto-based provider of IT solutions and staffing to the financial sector.
“Core Resources has built a stellar reputation in technical staff augmentation and delivery services within financial services,” Anthony Donnarumma, CEO of 24 Seven, said in a press release. “Their deep expertise of supplying resources in the areas of data, CRM, DevOps and digital aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering robust and impactful talent solutions for our clients.”
The deal closed Feb. 3. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
In a note to SIA, 24 Seven cited several reasons for the Core Resources acquisition at this time:
- Core Resources’ expertise in technical staff augmentation, particularly within financial services, directly complements 24 Seven’s existing service portfolio.
- The acquisition accelerates 24 Seven’s growth trajectory by immediately expanding its technical service offerings and deepening its footprint in the financial services sector.
- Core Resources’ technical talent expertise positions 24 Seven to better serve clients’ evolving needs.
The deal marks 24 Seven’s ninth acquisition. Other recent acquisitions by 24 Seven include Filter, McKinley Marketing Partners and The Cydio Group.
