Mountain View, California — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) has published its 2024 Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms list for the United States and Canada. This year’s list includes 221 firms that self-identify as being under diversity ownership. Firms on the list range from specialized, niche providers to larger-scale global organizations.

SIA research continually shows a clear link between diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) practices and strong business outcomes. The research firm’s 2024 Workforce Solutions Buyer Survey confirms a vast majority of buyers in the Americas understand and are acting on this correlation. Among their workforce strategies, 67% of companies have a diversity suppliers program in place and 23% are planning such a program within two years. This is where SIA’s Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms list comes in.

• 14 firms cited owners with disabilities
• 8 firms reported LGBTQ+ ownership
• 58 firms have owners representing multiple diverse groups

The 2024 Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms encompass a wide range of services and solutions valuable to contingent workforce management professionals. Key staffing segments represented by firms on this year’s list include engineering, healthcare, information technology, industrial, life sciences, marketing/creative, and office/clerical. New for 2024, organizations had to provide proof of third-party certification for list inclusion.
