SIA Announces 2024 Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms in the US

Mountain View, California Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) – the global research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workforce solutions – has announced the 2024 Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms in the US. The annual list ranks firms by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for US staffing revenue from 2019-2023, excluding acquisitions. Sponsoring this year’s list is background check provider KarmaCheck.

“Our 2024 Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms show that when the market gets tough, organizations adapt, respond and deliver. Although 2023 was a difficult year for the United States staffing market, 145 firms qualified for this year’s US list,” said SIA President Ursula Williams. “Congratulations to these businesses for their perseverance and resilience.”

To be considered for the Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms list, companies must have achieved a minimum revenue threshold of $1 million in 2019 and experienced a CAGR of at least 15% between 2019 and 2023. Qualifying data for the ranking is collected and evaluated in SIA’s annual staffing firm survey.

The median 2023 CAGR for all firms listed is 28.1%. California was the state with the most headquarters of firms on the list followed by Texas and Florida. IT was the most prevalent segment on the list at 45 firms followed by the travel nurse segment at 37 firms. Additionally, 27 listed firms exceeded $300 million in revenue and seven had revenues of more than $1 billion.
