Nelson Montoya

In his second year as country manager of Gi Group Colombia, Nelson Montoya in 2022 helped the organization rank within the market’s top 20 staffing companies through the acquisition of Focun Group, a long-standing local reference company. Under Montoya’s leadership, Gi Group in 2022 signed the Colombian government’s Pact for Decent Work, which actively supports Acoset, the national staffing association, in promoting the legitimacy of the industry in the country. Additionally, Montoya has developed alliances with various educational institutions and the National Learning Service (SENA) to promote employment. He has also launched the first GiCenter that promotes the development of the labor market through soft skills training and employment opportunities.
