Michael Stomberg is the founder and CEO of The Planet Group, a leading diversified professional services organization. In 2022, Planet experienced year-over-year organic growth of more than 20%, achieved over $600 million in revenue and earned spots on SIA’S Fastest-Growing and Largest US Staffing Firms lists. Recently, Stomberg was inducted into the MidOcean Partners (MOP) Hall of Fame. MOP was Planet’s private equity partner from 2018 to 2021, during which time they grew the firm’s revenue to over $600 million from $150 million and achieved an 8.5-times return on invested capital in three years.
