John Sebastian became the CEO of Health Carousel in early 2022 from his prior role as president of travel nursing and chief digital officer at the company. Under his leadership, Health Carousel grew an estimated 60% in 2022, with nearly 100% of all travel assignments digitally enabled. Sebastian led the company to place candidates from over 200 countries, setting the standard in ethical international recruitment. Through his management, Health Carousel became the first North American staffing company to join the Slave-Free Alliance and was certified through the Alliance for Ethical International Recruitment Practices.
