Scot Thompson is president and CEO of C&A Industries; the firm’s Aureus Medical Group division is the sixth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US. Under Thompson, C&A focuses on a culture of continuous improvement, and the firm holds company wide meetings throughout the year to inform, improve communication and foster idea-sharing. Thompson also introduced new and enhanced employee recognition programs in 2016. Nearly 90% of C&A’s internal workforce voluntarily participated in some form of training, including professional and/or personal development. C&A was named one of the Best Places to Work in Omaha in the large company category for the sixth time in eight years in 2016. Thompson joined the company in 2000.
