Agostino Di Maio

At Assolavoro, Italy’s national association for employment agencies since 2007, Agostino Di Maio tirelessly advocates for a more equitable and inclusive labour market. Under his direction, Assolavoro recently achieved an agreement with trade unions to provide comprehensive support for refugees of all nationalities, including training and welfare, with a private allocation of €45 million and forged a partnership between Assolavoro and UNHCR to implement the agreement. In December 2023, the association pledged support at the Global Refugees Forum in Geneva. Di Maio also serves on the board of Ebitemp and the WEC executive committee.
