Setting goals, hiring the right talent and cultivating a growth mindset are some of the reasons Quantum World Technologies has grown so much, founder Ashish Srivastava says.

“From day one, we set a clear mindset that the vision of the company is to have two-time, three-time growth,” he explains.

In the early 2000s, when Srivastava was a teenager, he began working at a business process outsourcing company in India. In 2008, Srivastava took the leap to open Quantum World Technologies. “I had no business background,” he said, but the fledgling company did well.

In 2011, Srivastava added IT staffing and consulting to the company’s profile, which intensified its growth. At this point, Srivastava asked his brother Rakesh Srivastava, a doctor, to leave his medical practice to help grow Quantum. Rakesh established the BPO as a private limited company. With specific, ambitious growth goals planned, they began reaching beyond India to set up offices in Europe, Canada, Malaysia and the Middle East.

Today, Ashish serves as managing director, overseeing operations. Rakesh is the company’s CEO, overseeing sales. Most of the business is focused on the banking and financial side, and despite a recession in the banking industry, Quantum is doing well. “We’ll be able to get more projects from banking and insurance clients,” Ashish says.

Quantum’s next goals are to add insurance and healthcare to its services and to venture into artificial intelligence. “AI is going to change the market,” Rakesh says. “We plan to put our hands into the AI market for operations as well as a service to offer.”

“Development of IT products is the most important thing we’re focusing on now,” Ashish says, adding that most of Quantum’s growth will come out of digital services and 25% will come from product services.

And the brothers are eager to keep the momentum going. “My brother and I are ambitious,” says Rakesh. “We got inspiration from my father. He said that you have to make your name in the world, and nothing is too big. I don’t do anything small. If you are going to build a company, make it a high-ranking one.”

Although Quantum has operations outside the US, only US staffing revenue was used to determine its growth rate for the Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms list.
