IntelyCare Inc. is making an encore appearance on SIA’s 2023 Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list with its sixth-place ranking. The Quincy, Massachusetts-based per diem nursing provider, which began in 2016 with the release of its first mobile app to enable nurses to select work shifts at healthcare facilities, ranked third in 2022.

IntelyCare also ranks as the second-largest provider of per diem nursing in the US, according to SIA.

Fast growth at IntelyCare has come despite the large size of the firm. It’s one of 43 firms on the Fastest-Growing Staffing Firms list to have more than $300 million in annual US staffing revenue.

The company says its growth is driven by a dedication to both nursing professionals and the healthcare facilities it serves. It prioritizes actively listening to the needs of clients and then providing tailored solutions to the problems they face. It also uses data analysis and surveys of its workforce and clients to understand what it takes for all parties to succeed.

One way it helped nurses flourish - and, in doing so, propelled its own growth - was with the 2022 launch of IntelyEdu, a continuing education platform for nurses with courses approved by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. The company has also expanded IntelyEdu to its partner facilities.

And IntelyCare sees more opportunities for continuing growth on the horizon.

“We firmly believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to healthcare staffing and continuously seek innovative ways to deliver adaptable solutions with a higher level of service,” the company said in a statement to SIA. “We recently introduced our direct hire service, which streamlines the recruitment process for facilities by efficiently connecting them with more qualified candidates.”

Future plans also include venturing into the acute care space. “Drawing from our proven success in the post-acute setting, where our technology has matched thousands of qualified nursing professionals with the right roles, our goal is to create an improved working environment for those in acute settings, supporting optimal care for an even broader patient population,” the company said in a statement.
