Kim Sneeder

Managing Director, CareerCircle | Allegis Group

Honoree profile

Kim Sneeder often impresses upon her children the power of the stories they tell themselves. Last year, amidst relentless layoffs, she could have simply succumbed to the narrative that no one was hiring. But as the managing director at CareerCircle, she refused to let that become her reality.

Instead, she closed the year with a remarkable 60% increase in hires compared to 2022 — a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a difference and her proudest achievement to date, she says.

“It meant 60% more lives were changed because they secured a role during one of the hardest hiring years I have experienced in my 25-year career in staffing,” she says. “When your work is mission aligned and you are committed to making an impact on both the individual and the organization, nothing can stop you.”

As the driving force behind CareerCircle’s commitment to equity, Sneeder helps members of underserved communities find employment in technology.

When your work is mission aligned and you are committed to making an impact on both the individual and the organization, nothing can stop you.

“When we started CareerCircle, I was appalled by the makeup of the technology industry. African Americans, LatinX and other demographics were dramatically underrepresented, and I felt strongly that our solution needed to address this reality.  I knew if we could identify what was causing the gap, we could bring all of the necessary components into one ecosystem.”

To that end, in the past year, Sneeder spearheaded several initiatives to advance DE&I within CareerCircle, from implementing employee wellness days to expanding partnerships with non-profits to secure scholarships for professional and educational development. The results speak for themselves: With almost 80% of CareerCircle members from underrepresented groups, Sneeder’s advocacy demonstrates the power of support and opportunity.

Beyond Sneeder’s professional work, she is deeply committed to changing the percentage of women in leadership roles as well as supporting those with neurodiversity. “My son, who is on the autism spectrum, has been a tremendous source of inspiration and self-reflection about the hiring process and opportunities to drive change,” she says. “His journey has fueled my determination to create inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and supported.”
