Maggie Bray (Wiggins)
honoree profile
For Maggie Bray (Wiggins), staffing isn’t just a career — it’s a calling. Fresh out of college, she delved into IT recruiting at Anteo Group and swiftly climbed through the ranks to become the national director of business development. “Staffing is something I immediately connected with; it’s all I’ve ever known,” she says.
Bray and her sister, Grace Denyer, in 2020 co-founded Advanced Tech Placement (ATP) — a woman-owned and woman-led IT recruiting and project-based firm. In the years since, Bray’s vision has driven ATP to more than double its annual revenue year over year, with projections for 2024 reaching $13 million.
“I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for paving the way for women, inspiring them to be fearless, pursue their dreams and have faith in themselves to accomplish anything and everything they set their minds to,” she says.
Bray’s relentless efforts have garnered ATP several accolades, including the 2024 ClearlyRated’s Best in Staffing award and the 2023 Stevie Award for Women Run Businesses. Additionally, the company secured a spot on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2024 Pacesetter/Fastest Growing Privately-Owned Companies.
Bray envisions ATP growing to $100 million in revenue in coming years, all while providing opportunities for as many individuals as possible. “Though it may not always seem easy, hard work truly pays off,” she says. “My goal is to empower people to achieve personal and professional success by providing them with the environment and platform they need to thrive.”
