Kaitlin Lissandrello Brown

A persistent recruiter sparked Kaitlin Lissandrello Brown’s interest in the staffing world. Though she’d studied sports management in college and pursued a career in broadcasting, she hasn’t looked back since joining Aquent 10 years ago.

Initially supporting small and midsize businesses, she has grown into an industry director, overseeing some of the company’s largest clients and has been named a top performer at Aquent for five consecutive years. 

Keeping on top of clients’ ever-evolving challenges is one of Brown’s biggest reasons for loving this industry. “Ten years ago, the problems were much different,” she says. “I have to grow and learn with the industry and clients.”

Brown credits her passion for marketing and gaming for helping her develop creative solutions for her clients. Recently, she played a key role in launching Aquent Games, a division that supports AAA game studios’ workforce solution needs. Brown was also part of the Metaverse innovation team, which tested, researched and developed solutions via virtual reality tools.  Her “outside the reality” thinking paid off, as she recently secured a multi-year deal with a major video game studio for which Aquent will oversee design and production for one of the most played video games in the world.

In addition to innovative thinking, Brown believes continuous education is a key to success. In 2023, she completed a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School. “Especially when it comes to AI, leading agile organizations, etc., things are different than when we were in college,” she says, “and we need to keep up.”
