Haley Damm

For Haley Damm, living Adecco’s purpose of “Making the Future Work for Everyone” feels like paying it forward. Damm began her career in the staffing industry as a temporary associate at Adecco a decade ago, excelling across functions and in various leadership roles thus far. 

Today, Damm serves as Adecco’s VP of operations, Central region, overseeing a portfolio of over $500 million across 110 locations and 11 states, and she reflects on her career development with gratitude. Her passion for this work, she says, comes from “continuing to create those opportunities for other people that I’ve been so blessed to have.”

Damm has a particular passion for growing and developing teams and colleagues, which is highlighted by the promotion of 35 colleagues last year alone. She notes that to excel at this level, however, you have to have a genuine passion and love for the work. “What we get to do is really special and very much resonates with me as a person,” she says. “We get to create moments that matter, and that results in lasting impacts for people both in their professional and personal lives.”

Looking ahead, Damm notes that technology and data are at the forefront. That said, she believes that no amount of innovation will displace the people-centric approach within this industry. “Looking for a job can be a very vulnerable place to be,” she says. “Although technology is at the forefront of what we’re doing and the evolution of our organization, it’s important to recognize our roots — and the root of what we are is people.”
