While working in early childhood education, initially as a swim coach and later as a preschool teacher, Chaienne Mathurin began yearning for something different. “I wanted to make a bigger impact,” she recalls. “And I realized I couldn’t have hit it more on the head than staffing.”
Today, Mathurin serves as enterprise applications manager at Orlando-based workforce solutions provider Loyal Source, overseeing mass communication efforts, automation and other enterprise solutions related to delivery services. In 2023, she propelled the organization’s marketing automation to an unprecedented open rate of 42.654%, exceeding the overall recruitment industry standard of 21.14%.
But numbers only tell part of the story. Mathurin takes immense pride in her work as chair and editor of Loyal Source’s DE&I communications subcommittee. Under her leadership, the readership increased by 41% year over year, maintaining a 51% open rate. Being a female leader and a leader of color, Mathurin also contributed as a speaker at the Black History Month Panel. “Representation matters, and I want to be that beacon for those seeking representation in the corporate world and beyond,” she says.
A self-described disruptor in the space, Mathurin aims to stay abreast of technological advancements while maintaining the human element.
“At the of the day, it’s people who empower businesses,” she says. “It’s all about forging ahead and paving the way for creators, innovators and disruptors to make meaningful changes,” she says.
