Tiffany Pham launched the Mogul platform in 2014 as a way to honor her grandmother’s legacy of connecting the right people with invaluable opportunities. Her grandmother, who died when Pham was 14 years old, was a serial entrepreneur who took pleasure in mentoring her employees. Today, under Pham’s leadership as CEO, Mogul comprises an online community for diverse talent, a board and executive recruitment firm, and a tech company with a patent-pending innovative recruiter tool.
For Pham, Mogul is an opportunity to create real, meaningful change. “There is a diversity gap, and our work at Mogul is focused on changing that. We would like to see an increased focus on diversity at all levels, but particularly at executive and board levels to drive meaningful change,” she says. Mogul specializes in diversified search and executive recruitment, and its platform offers diversity filters to discover candidates across gender, ethnicity, veteran status and disability status, with more filters be introduced in 2022.
Inspired and motivated each time Mogul places a “first” - a first female in a C-suite or a first person of color appointed to a board of directors - Pham has big plans for the organization’s future, including a national campaign to support corporations seeking to diversify their boards. “As an industry, we are quietly making progress in diversifying underrepresented categories,” she says. “Although there is still work to do, there is a feeling that we are at the forefront of change.” Mogul has impacted over 430 million people across 195 countries.
