Taylor Ramchandani joined the staffing industry fresh out of college in 2016 and has quickly gained an appreciation not only for the industry as a whole, but also her own ability to make an impact by providing the technology that gets workers onboarded quickly and efficiently. In 2018 she joined VectorVMS, a vendor management system specialist that facilitates all aspects of the contingent labor lifecycle, providing software that manages the entire lifecycle of the worker - from creation of the requisition to onboarding the candidate to eventual off-boarding and evaluation.
As a product manager, Ramchandani is extremely proud to have spearheaded two major achievements in the company’s technology in 2019: the introduction of a mobile app for client managers to complete actions on the go from any mobile device, and the implementation of web content accessibility guidelines into the tool. “We went through an extensive process to ensure that all users, regardless of how they need to access the technology, can utilize it with ease. To VectorVMS and our clients, this has been an item of importance for many years,” she says.
On the future of staffing from a technology perspective, Ramchandani believes it is going to incorporate the use of different sourcing strategies to compete for top talent. “I see organizations incorporating different technologies (direct sourcing, FMS, talent pooling, etc.) to augment their contingent workforce,” she says. “With that in mind, my team has built out partnerships with varying technologies to help our customers create that tech ecosystem.”
