Lee Baldwin

Lee Baldwin excels at driving innovative workforce strategies for highly complex clients. As senior VP and global head of financial services for Pontoon Solutions Inc., he is responsible for the full life cycle of the financial services client portfolio. Described by colleagues as forward-thinking and committed, he embarked on a career in staffing immediately upon graduating from North Carolina State University, beginning as an IT recruiter and quickly working his way up. He’s been with Pontoon Solutions for nearly 11 years, and assumed his current role in 2019.

At this time, Baldwin and his team are working to further automate the MSP process, utilizing innovative technologies that improve the hiring manager experience while reducing their overall touches in the process. Baldwin believes greater utilization of technology will not eliminate but enhance the human experience for both clients and candidates.

There are two main things motivating Baldwin on a daily basis: the development and personal growth of his teams, as well as the overall success of the organization. He says that within the next five years, he hopes to lead his company. The MSP industry as a whole will also change in the coming years, Baldwin predicts, with the large manualcentric administration of enterprise programs making way for more agile, technology-enabled solutions that allow greater flexibility.
