Joshua Vesely

Joshua Vesely serves as the senior VP of Randstad Enterprise Group, Randstad’s newly formed talent advisory infrastructure. As the leader of the enterprise sales function and a passionate advocate for using technology to simplify complex organizational decisions, Vesely helps large organizations unite their HR technology innovations, staffing and solutions portfolios into one integrated channel.

This spring, Randstad officially announced its partnership with AMN Healthcare, the largest clinical
staffing organization in the US. Vesely says this move highlights a “meaningful pivot” from the traditional staffing approach, in which companies try to do everything for clients end-to-end. “What we’re moving toward is a horizontally integrated strategy,” Vesely explains, offering clients complementary strengths from two major players. “Together we can be better, faster, less expensive than if we try to go at it separately and apart.”

Looking ahead, Vesely predicts a major shift from the transactional model of simply helping organizations fulfill roles. Instead, he sees Randstad adding to the advisory and insight space, helping talent chart fulfilling professional paths, while assisting organizations with smart talent decisions. “I think it’s a very different discussion than, ‘I have this role I have to fill, let me find a person that’s willing, able, and available,’” Vesely says. He cites his team as his biggest drive and motivation, helping him consistently think outside of traditional models and adapt with the ever-changing environment quickly and thoughtfully.
