Foreman Therapy Services’ app received the innovation award at the SIA Healthcare Staffing Summit in 2016. Then still under development, the app, called Zuum, provides a platform to streamline communication between home healthcare firms and workers who provide the home healthcare service.

“It’s kind of our Uber of home health technology,” says Nate Foreman, founder and CEO of Foreman Therapy Services. “I think that the technology piece in home health is going to be very critical for companies like us to remain viable.”

The Dallas-based firm provides therapists to home health agencies. Today, the company is in six markets in Texas, and has three franchises in Ohio, Michigan and Colorado. Foreman Therapy Services also acquired another firm in 2017. Foreman started the firm after graduating from physical therapy school in 2009 and first working for another home health staffing company. He decided to form the business after seeing that the Dallas area was underserved in home healthcare.

Foreman also enjoys seeing people grow and advance in his organization. This year, some key managers got promoted.

Outside of staffing, Foreman says he’s an avid golfer and likes to travel. He’s on the board of BraveLove, an adoption-awareness organization in Dallas, and volunteers with an organization to help youths who are aging out of the foster care system. Foreman is actively involved in his church as well.
