Colin Mooney

Colin Mooney has an exciting mission as chief digital officer of Robert Half, a $5.3 billion staffing firm: To improve the customer experience. And for the staffing industry, the customer base is essentially doubled, with the talent being a customer as well. He brings to his role 14 years’ experience working the critical nature of his role.

Mooney stepped into his role to bring the 70-year old industry pioneer to the leading edge in September 2017 and has already been credited with driving its digital transformation.

He likens the current environment in staffing to his experience in the banking industry when iPhones came on the scene circa 2007. It was a time of transformation, enabling customers to interact with the bank’s services on a new level. Now is just as exciting, he says - and critical - with technology reshaping how the industry, the clients as well as the talent all interact with one another.

His 14 years’ experience includes senior technology roles in telecoms, banking, transportation technology, as well three years at Salesforce, where his work with Robert Half first began.

In addition to leading the development and implementation of Robert Half digital service offerings, he is also driving significant operational change and efficiencies in the company’s traditional business. Mooney’s depth of technical knowledge combined with his business acumen and infectious energy has him emerging as a key executive within the Robert Half organization.
