The use of texting/emailing technology to engage with candidates is widely adopted by the staffing industry, as 98% of all staffing firms planned to use such technology in 2022. Further, 60% of staffing firms anticipated increasing their usage in 2022. Enterprise buyers, meanwhile, are much less likely to be using texting/emailing technology, at 25%, though adoption is trending upward, as 39% plan to seriously explore texting/emailing technology in the near future.

Advancing Women
The strategy most widely used by staffing firms for supporting and advancing women in 2022 was salary review/equalization, with 44% of firms reporting its use. Other practices include formal mentoring/ coaching (37%) and women’s advancement groups (30%).

The number of staffing targets that serve both professional and commercial segments more than doubled to 24 (+140%), making up 17% of M&A transactions versus 9% in 2021 and 5% in 2020.
