Healthcare staffing firm Triage acquired fellow Nebraska-based healthcare staffing firm RTG Medical. Triage is headquartered in Omaha while RTG is based in nearby Fremont.
Triage, which already ranks as the 12th-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US, aims to bolster its healthcare staffing footprint with the deal. RTG ranks No. 57.
“Nebraska’s medical staffing roots run deep and we’re excited that a company and neighbor we’ve admired for such a long time is joining the Triage family,” Triage founder and CEO John Maaske said in a press release. “RTG is a great company with a solid brand in the healthcare staffing industry.”
The acquisition will see RTG co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Guenther move to a new role at Triage.
RTG President and CEO Charlie Janssen is leaving the company.
“RTG is excited to be part of Triage,” Janssen said in a press release. “We have known them for over 20 years, and this is the absolute best fit — they are a great company. This will create a lot of opportunities for our employees, clients and healthcare professionals.”
