Private equity firm Olympus Partners sold Soliant Health, a provider of healthcare staffing to schools and other healthcare organizations. Staffing for K-12 schools includes speech pathologists, school psychologists and nurses. Soliant also provides staffing of teachers.

Olympus acquired Soliant from the Adecco Group for $612 million in a deal that closed Jan. 3, 2020.

In a separate announcement, Soliant said it has been recapitalized by The Vistria Group, a middle-market private investment firm.

“With their strategic support and industry expertise, we are well-positioned to capitalize on new growth opportunities and further elevate our service offerings to benefit the communities we serve,” Soliant founder and CEO David Alexander said in a press release.

In its announcement, Olympus said Soliant increased the size of its sales and recruiting team by more than 700 people since the Olympus acquisition. Soliant also opened new offices in Atlanta; Tampa and Jacksonville, Florida; and Greenville, South Carolina.

“We are immensely proud not only of the remarkable growth and performance of Soliant during our investment period, but also that the company was able to provide schools with the resources they needed to support their special needs students during the challenging periods coming out of Covid,” Jason Miller, partner at Olympus, said in a press release.

SIA ranks Soliant as the 28th-largest staffing firm in the US, according to the most recent data. The company is based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
