Healthcare staffing firms AB Staffing Solutions, Adaptive Workforce Solutions, Prime Time Healthcare and Prime Workforce Solutions are unifying under a single brand, Fortis Healthcare Solutions. 

Sandlot Buyer — the former name of Fortis Healthcare Solutions — acquired AB Staffing and Adaptive Workforce Solutions in August 2023. Prior to the transaction with Sandlot Buyer, Prime Time Healthcare, AB Staffing and Adaptive were privately held by individual owners. 

Elkhorn, Nebraska-based Fortis Healthcare Solutions announced the move on March 3. Prime Time Healthcare and Prime Workforce Solutions are also based in Elkhorn, while AB Staffing Solutions and Adaptive Workforce Solutions are headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona. 

The four individual brand names will remain; when combined, they total approximately 500 internal employees. 

Fortis executives include CEO Shawn Roeber, CFO David Allen, General Counsel Matthew Mitchell, COO Jim Hall and CTO Jessica Blackman. 

Julie O’Keefe is CEO of Adaptive Workforce Solutions.

AB Staffing Solutions, founded in 2002, places nurses, allied health professionals, locums tenens and advanced practice providers in federal and commercial hospitals across the US. It was featured on SIA’s 2023 Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list. 

Founded in 2017, Adaptive Workforce Solutions provides vendor-neutral managed service programs to healthcare organizations. Its services include employer-of-record solutions, emergency and as-needed staffing, in-house program development, and workforce assessment. 

Prime Time Healthcare, founded in 2012, provides travel nursing, permanent placement, temp-to-perm nursing and per diem nursing. 

Prime Workforce Solutions is a managed service provider helping organizations streamline supplemental workforce management.
