GQR, which ranks as the 26th-largest US provider of travel nurses, announced July 8 that it acquired Uniti Med, a travel nurse staffing provider based in Omaha, Nebraska.

“By uniting our brands, we are expanding our capabilities and enhancing the value we deliver to our clients, candidates and contractors,” Steven Talbot, CEO of GQR, said in a blog post. “This integration allows us to offer a broader range of services, deeper industry insights and a stronger network of talent.”

Uniti Med appeared on SIA’s 2024 Best Staffing Firms to Work For list.

The deal closed on March 26. The Uniti Med management team is remaining as is the Uniti Med brand.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

GQR is based in Austin, Texas.
