Dexian announces 2 new C-suite executives

IT staffing provider Dexian announced changes to its executive lineup. The McLean, Virginia-based firm appointed finance veteran Chris Conover as chief financial officer and promoted Tara Winn to chief operating officer.“I am committed to creating a high-performance culture of collaboration, inclusivity and compassion, and I have been looking for leaders who reflect our core values and share our vision for the future,” Dexian CEO Maruf Ahmed said in a press release. “I am happy to say that Chris and Tara are those leaders and will fortify our leadership team and help guide us on our path forward.”Conover, the new CFO, brings hands-on experience in consolidating financial operations within multi-brand, geographically dispersed organizations. His background also includes serving as managing director with FTI Consulting before moving into the services industry with further CFO positions at HC Salon Holdings Inc. (Hair Cuttery) and, most recently, with Lawn & Garden LLC.Winn’s COO position is a new role at Dexian. Winn joined Dexian as a recruiter in 2009 and has held several leadership positions, including VP of field operations. Most recently, she served as chief of staff and has appeared on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list.“There is no better person for COO than Tara,” Ahmed said. “Tara has grown with our organization and has become an influential leader.”Dexian ranks as the eighth-largest US IT staffing firm.
