  • Total compensation declined by a median 0.5% in 2019 in our study of 85 executives at 44 publicly traded staffing, executive search, and other workforce solutions firms globally. 

  • Americas firms posted the highest median compensation at USD 1,577,142. Firms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa posted median compensation of USD 655,879.

  • The highest-paid executives in this report’s group of 44 publicly traded staffing companies were Jonas Prising, CEO of ManpowerGroup Inc., with total compensation of USD 12.5 million, and Harold M. Messmer, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Robert Half International Inc., with total compensation of USD 8.8 million.
