  • From Jan. 1, 2020 the standard salary level requirement for an employee to be exempt from the entitlement to overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) increases from $455 per week (annualized $23,660) to $684 per week (annualized $35,568), the first increase since 2004.

  • This report examines the issues faced by staffing firms and employers in relation to the Overtime Rule changes and the options to remain compliant with the FLSA.
