Adam Pode joined Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) in June 2009 with overall responsibility for research covering markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). Since then, he has examined and written about the staffing industry in various markets, from Australia to Zambia.  Pode developed forecasts that the market uses to plan its strategy. He advises numerous companies worldwide and works with the World Employment Confederation (WEC) to measure the industry’s pulse rate. Additionally, he has calculated the size of the global gig economy and spoken at numerous industry events.  Throughout his career, Pode has worked in research both in the House of Commons and the British Army. He ran his own research firm, served as a professor in the United States, headed the business intelligence unit of a large, listed United Kingdom firm, and worked as an associate partner in private equity practice. He is a certified contingent workforce professional (CCWP) and works from SIA’s London office.  

Curtis Starkey is a senior research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), joining the company in mid-2019. Starkey’s research coverage includes the information technology skill segment, SIA’s Pulse Survey and Buyer Survey, as well as other topics. His unique variety of experiences include those in research and finance as well as freelance roles in the gig economy. Starkey worked as a writer and editor for bilingual magazines. He studied Mandarin in Taiwan prior to joining SIA. Starkey has a Bachelor of Science in finance from Bradley University and a Master of Science in financial analysis from the University of San Francisco.

David Papapostolou leads interactive research and data visualization initiatives at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). This includes the SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator and the US Geographic Opportunities Atlas. Prior to becoming a developer at SIA, Papapostolou served as an analyst within the research team since May 2010 and has written extensively about the contingent workforce environments in many staffing markets globally. Papapostolou is based in France, by the Loire River and near the Atlantic Ocean. He has a PhD in biochemistry from Paris University Denis Diderot.

Francesca Profeta is well-known for her market research and commitment to promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEandI). With a 20-year career in the staffing industry and over a decade at SIA, Profeta has played a pivotal role in shaping SIA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion research. Profeta’s research and advocacy efforts shed light on the importance of diverse representation, technology trends, diverse networks, and the benefits of embracing a culture of inclusivity in staffing practices. In addition to her focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, Profeta provides valuable market insights for SIA members on diverse staffing markets such as Japan, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. Prior to joining SIA, she worked for global staffing firms Select Appointments and Vedior. Profeta is a certified contingent workforce professional (CCWP).

Matt Norton is workforce solutions research director at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) joining the research firm in 2012. He is the analyst and advisor to Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Council Members on global market developments across the entire spectrum of workforce solutions. This includes managed service provider (MSP), recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and total talent management. Norton authored SIA’s Workforce Solutions Ecosystem research report in his prior role as senior research analyst. He is a frequent presenter and moderator at industry conferences and events. Norton has a Bachelor of Arts from Royal Holloway, University of London and a master’s degree from The London School of Economics. He is a certified contingent workforce professional (CCWP).

Timothy Landhuis is vice president of research at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). He oversees a range of research studies, research products and presentations on behalf of SIA’s North America-based research team. Since joining SIA in 2011, Landhuis has authored reports such as the United States Staffing Industry Forecast, Largest Staffing Firms in the United States, the Staffing Industry Benchmarking Consortium (SIBC) Benchmarking Study and the Workforce Solutions Buyers Survey. This is in addition to reports on industrial staffing, education staffing and the Canadian staffing industry. Landhuis has guided the development of data tools on compensation rates, mergers and acquisitions, and staffing industry size and growth rates by occupation and geographic regions. He is a frequent presenter and moderator at industry conferences and events. Prior to joining SIA, Landhuis worked as a financial analyst and recruiter at leading firms in the semiconductor, software and financial services sectors. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Tony Gregoire was appointed Director of Custom Research at SIA in 2020. Along with responsibility for customized research, Tony also continues to lead content for SIA’s Executive Forum North America, the company’s global staffing market estimates and projections, US contingent workforce market estimates, the annual US Gig Workforce report, the monthly US Jobs Report and the company’s annual Workforce Solutions Buyer Survey. Prior roles since joining SIA in 2008 include serving as the lead for CWS Council research and as SIA’s healthcare staffing analyst. Tony has authored reports such as the VMS & MSP Supplier Competitive Landscape, the US Staffing Industry Forecast, the Payrolling & IC Compliance Landscape, and the List of Largest US Staffing Firms. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events and his research on the staffing market and contingent workforce has been cited in leading publications. Tony holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and has passed the CFA Level III exam.
