Staffing provider Futuris Co. (OTCMKTS: FTRS) acquired Akvarr Inc., an IT staffing firm based in Fairfax, Virginia, with offices in US and India. Futuris also announced the disposal of a previous acquisition, Pioneer Global Inc.Akvarr was founded in 2007 and has more than 100 employees globally.

ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN) completed its acquisition of ettain group, one of the largest IT staffing providers in the US. The deal was first announced near the end of August, with ManpowerGroup acquiring ettain group for $925 million in cash."We are delighted to welcome the talented ettain team to ManpowerGroup.

IT jobs hit a new record high in August, but growth has "slowed to a trickle," according to a report by the TechServe Alliance. Separately, an analysis released by the National Foundation for American Policy found the number of unique, active job postings for computer occupations in the US rose 15% in the six months ended Sept.

It was led by Index Ventures.CodeSignal's product is an automated skills-based assessment platform that enables hiring at scale. Companies using CodeSignal include Uber, Facebook and Zoom.

Paris-based IT services firm Capgemini Group entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire cybersecurity and software contractor VariQ. With the acquisition, Capgemini aims to strengthen its position in the US federal market and build momentum for growth.VariQ would be integrated into Capgemini Government Solutions LLC, its independent operating division working with US government agencies.Founded by CEO Ben Edson in 2003, VariQ is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland.

The David Aplin Group acquired CompuStaff, an IT recruitment firm based in Toronto with a presence in Montreal and the US.
