Cross Country Healthcare Inc. is combining its DirectEd Educational Services and Mediscan educational staffing brands under the single Cross Country Education brand.Mediscan provides healthcare workers as well as workers to schools such as physical therapists and nurses. In 2014, Mediscan had acquire DirectEd, which provides substitute teachers who specialize in meeting the needs of charter schools in Los Angeles.
