Private equity firm GTCR and The Adecco Group struck a deal to sell VMS provider Beeline to New York-based private equity firm New Mountain Capital LLC. The firms aim to close the deal in August; it is subject to customary closing conditions.Before this deal, Adecco owned 43% of Beeline after selling a majority stake to Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR in December 2016. GTCR held a majority stake in VMS provider IQN and merged the two operations under the Beeline brand last year.

US temporary staffing revenue growth decelerated to a median 6% year over year in June from 7% in May, according to Staffing Industry Analysts' latest Pulse report survey of staffing firms."Six months into the year, temporary staffing continued the moderate expansion showed since the beginning of 2018," said SIA Research Analyst Sree Thiyagarajan said.However, median year-over-year revenue growth accelerated in allied healthcare to 17% in June from 6% in May and in travel nursing to 5% from -2%.

Healthcare Support Staffing Inc. last week announced it acquired HCS Healthcare, a healthcare staffing firm based in Winter Park, Fla.HCS Healthcare was formerly known as Healthcare Scouts, and appeared on SIA's list of fastest-growing staffing firms last year.

Physician, pharmacy manager and pharmacist ranked as the highest-paying jobs in America, but tech jobs still comprised about half of the highest-paying jobs, according to the Highest Paying Jobs in America report released today by Glassdoor.Thirteen of the 25 jobs are tech jobs, more than any other profession and up from 11 in 2017.
