Prior to making her way into the staffing industry, Nancy Coblenz served as founder and CEO of Rebel Role Model, a company producing augmented and virtual reality marketing solutions for companies hoping to reach millennial and Gen Z consumers. It was her insight and expertise in tactical marketing and immersive technology that enabled Coblenz to spot a deficit within the staffing industry at the time. “I saw a gap that needed to be filled,” she says. “A need for a more personalized, innovative approach to staffing that embraced the advancements in technology and the changing dynamics of the job market.”
Today, Coblenz serves as VP of marketing for ActOne Group, a multibillion-dollar employment solutions company. Coblenz kickstarted the company’s digital transformation to change the way clients engage with the ActOne brand through storytelling. One of her proudest recent achievements was reaching 40 million people with a campaign for ActOne Military Connections, which connects military spouses and military personnel transitioning back into civilian life with meaningful employment.
Coblenz is proud to work in an industry that makes such a powerful impact by connecting talented individuals with potentially lifechanging opportunities. “Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and technology, particularly in STEM fields, and I wanted to extend that impact further,” she explains. “As someone who has always been driven by making a positive difference, I recognized that staffing was an avenue through which I could contribute to shaping the future of the workforce.” Looking ahead, Coblenz aims to leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance ActOne’s marketing strategies, with the singular goal of delivering greater value to clients.
