Michael Baldini’s drive stems from his ability to build relationships, problem-solve and provide sustainable and inclusive talent programs.
While initially aiming for a career in the sciences, Baldini’s search for a part-time job in 2007 led him to become a recruiter at a staffing firm headquartered in New York City. Having placed 400 contractors and earning the firm’s MVP award four times, Baldini began to foster and grow relationships as a national sales director, where he promoted diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
This growing desire to help build inclusive workplaces led Baldini to Rangam in 2021 as VP of global sales and business development; Rangam is a minority-, women- and disability-owned global workforce solutions firm based in Somerset, New Jersey, that focuses on providing neurodiverse, disabled and disadvantaged talent.
Within Rangam, Baldini has delivered cutting-edge solutions that have helped the company expand its footprint within the government sector, servicing eight new clients in support of talent engagement last year. In addition to driving the global sales team to achieve 24% growth, Baldini oversaw Rangam’s global expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific regions with six new customers.
Baldini also helped develop the sales strategy for a global expansion of SourceAbled, a program that provides direct sourcing opportunities for people with disabilities in partnership with ATS and VMS technology.
Baldini believes in employment for all and foresees the staffing industry heading toward a more inclusive labor market, which he is eager to engage. “The new generation of talent is more entrepreneurial than ever before. They have a desire for independence with an eagerness to make a meaningful impact,” he says.
