Travel nursing interest rises another 3% over Q4 — Promoted

Dallas, TX – April 1, 2015 – StaffDNA released their Candidate Blueprint Index (CBI) for quarter one, which provides real-time data detailing the employment preferences of healthcare candidates nationwide. Data is obtained from a sample of 2,500 nursing and allied health professionals who registered via the StaffDNA platform during January – March 2015. Candidates have the option to select multiple employment preferences, including state and job type.

Witnessing strong interest in the fourth quarter of 2014, interest in travel opportunities grew by another 3% in the first quarter of 2015. The top 5 states preferred by applicants remained consistent month over month, with the exception of Texas, which increased in popularity. Concentration percentage raised by 4% for the top 5 states, indicating that professionals are interested in work opportunities in coastal locations as the warmer climates approach.

For the first quarter of 2015 candidates sought the following job types:

Permanent (32%) - Local Contracts (25%) - Per Diem (22%) - Travel/Temporary (21%)

The Top 5 states for employment were:

Florida (19%) - California (15%) - Texas (13%) - New York (12%) - North Carolina (10%)
