Pinnacle named former Adecco and Provade executive James Parker to the role of senior vice president of North American operations. Parker most recently served as senior vice president of sales for Provade Inc., a vendor management system provider acquired by Pinnacle last year. In the past, Parker had also served as president and chief operating officer for two of Adecco’s U.S. business lines — engineering & technical and medical & sciences.

Parker will lead Pinnacle’s North American staffing, payrolling and master vendor/vendor management services operations. He will also develop strategies to increase the company’s growth and quality.

Lenexa, Kan.-based B. E. Smith, an executive search firm specializing in healthcare, appointed Lydia Ostermeier as associate vice president for the firm’s executive search division. Ostermeier has more than 15 years of experience.

Caliber Associates, an executive search firm focused on the life sciences sector, named Bolyn Hubby as vice president. Hubby recently served as executive director of vaccines at Liquidia Technologies.
