AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS) said Douglas Wheat was elected chairman of the board. Wheat has served as a director on AMN's board since November 1999 and is currently chairman of Challenger Capital Group Ltd.

SeatonCorp, a Chicago-based staffing firm, appointed Patrick Beharelle as COO, a newly created position. Beharelle will report to CEO Michael Miles and will be responsible for SeatonCorp's Staff Management and PeopleScout divisions. Staff Management provides high-volume, vendor-on-premises staffing while PeopleScout provides recruitment process outsourcing. Miles will continue to directly oversee Student Scout, the company's third division which handles student recruitment for post-secondary education institutions.

Beharelle comes to SeatonCorp after serving as senior VP of the RPO division at Spherion Corp. (NYSE: SFN).
