More than 700 staffing industry executives attended the conference, which was held in Las Vegas from March 4 through March 7. Briefing - Healthcare staffing to grow 7%
In 2007, the healthcare segment of the staffing industry experienced roughly 6% growth in revenue, as a slowdown in growth on the nursing side was offset by continued strong growth in locum tenens and allied healthcare. We project growth of roughly 7% in 2008 and 2009. For more, click here.

BRIEFING - 4Q07 legal staffing growth update
Two large players in the legal staffing segment - MPS Group Inc., which operates its Special Counsel legal division, and Hudson Highland - reported full year 2007 organic growth of 1% and 4.7% (estimated) respectively.
