Medfinders Inc. named a new president and chief operating officer for its physician staffing division. AccountAbilities Inc. (OTCBB: ACBT.OB) replaced both its CEO and president.

Medfinders, an Arlington TX-based healthcare staffing firm, appointed Christian Rutherford as president and COO of its Medfinders Physician Staffing division. Services under the division include locum tenens staffing under the Linde Healthcare brand, nurse practitioner and physician assistant allied healthcare staffing under the Linde Allied brand and physician permanent placement under the Kendall & Davis brand. Prior to Medfinders, Rutherford was president of RN Network, a travel nurse staffing firm. He has also served as president of Weatherby Locums.

AccountAbilities, a Manalapan NJ-based staffing firm, announced that Jeffrey Raymond stepped down from the CEO role and became senior VP for strategic planning effective March 30, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Jay Schecter, a member of the board of directors, was appointed CEO. In addition, the company reported that Allan Hartley was removed as president effective March 30. John Messina Sr., also a member of the board of directors, was named president.

AccountAbilities announced in February it was getting out of the finance and accounting staffing business. The company said it provided commercial staffing (80% of revenue) as well as information technology and pharmaceutical staffing.
