CIBER revenue slips 18%

Second-quarter revenue fell 17.9% year-over-year to $260.6 million at the information technology solutions and staffing company CIBER Inc. (NYSE: CBR).

The Greenwood Village CO-based company reported 8% of the decrease in second-quarter revenue was because of a stronger U.S. dollar.

CIBER's second-quarter net income fell 43.1% to $4.7 million from $8.2 million in the year-ago quarter.

The company estimates third-quarter revenue of between $260 million to $265 million, down 11.7% to 13.3% year-over-year.
