Analysts International Corp. (NASD: ANLY) sold its value-added reseller business, which sold primarily hardware and related services, effective immediately, to Netarx LLC, a Farmington Hills MI-based firm.

Analysts International, a Minneapolis-based information technology services and staffing firm, announced the deal Tuesday.

"This move significantly reduces the complexity of our business and enables us to focus our attention on growing our core services, including IT staffing, consulting and application solutions," said Analysts International President and CEO Elmer Baldwin.

More than 150 professionals will join Netarx from Analysts International. And both companies will enter into a deal to work together to jointly serve IT and network communication needs of clients in the Great Lakes region.

Terms of the deal will be announced in an upcoming public filing, according to the company.
