Healthcare IT staffing firm MedSys Group promoted Ann Bartnik to VP of client services. Bartnik joined MedSys in 2012 and has almost 20 years of industry experience. MedSys is based in Plano, Texas.

Industrial staffing provider Labor SMART Inc. (OTCBB: LTNC) announced a new addition to its advisory board in Dave Wallace, who served as a US Army lieutenant in Vietnam and presently serves in the Arkansas legislature. Wallace has also held positions at TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI) and Command Center Inc.. At the latter, he was senior regional VP. Wallace also serves in the Arkansas Legislature as a state representative for District 54. Atlanta-based Labor SMART previously announced it added Glenn Welstad, founder of Labor Ready and Command Center, to its board.

Executive search firm Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL) appointed Michael DeCosta to lead its new professional services practice. DeCosta was previously senior client partner in both the legal specialty practice and services sector at Korn Ferry International (NYSE: KFY).
