Supplemental Health Care launches new RPO company

November 19, 2015

Supplemental Health Care, a Park City, Utah-based healthcare staffing firm, spun off its recruitment process outsourcing division into a new company, effective Nov. 18.

Clinical Magnet, a subsidiary of Supplemental Health Care, will provide RPO services for the healthcare industry and focus exclusively on clinical staffing. The company is based in Dallas, with additional support resources in Detroit and Park City.

Travis Furlow has been named president of the new company.  He previously served as VP and general manager of Supplemental Health Care’s RPO division.

“We began providing RPO services to our clients in 2013, but over time we saw the need for a more focused RPO approach due to the rapidly evolving healthcare industry,” said Supplemental Health Care CEO and President Janet Elkin. “We are excited that Clinical Magnet will allow us to expand our offering and bring more resources and innovation to the market at a time when nearly every healthcare organization is experiencing challenges in hiring clinical talent.”

Supplemental Health Care ranks as the No. 7 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2015 list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US.
