AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest US healthcare staffing firm, announced today it has been awarded a sole-source contract with Premier Inc. to  provide healthcare staffing services and workforce solutions.

Strategic Staffing Solutions remains the MSP for Premier Inc.’s internal corporate staffing program, to clarify a story that appeared this week. AMN Healthcare Inc. was awarded a sole-source contract to provide healthcare staffing through Premier’s group purchasing organization program — one portion of Premier’s operations. AMN's healthcare staffing contract is not under Strategic Staffing Solutions’ MSP at this time. Premier is a provider of group purchasing, supply chain management and business analytics with 3,400 member hospitals and 110,000 other healthcare facilities.
