Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR), a Greenwood, Colo.-based information technology staffing and solutions firm, announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Betsy Atkins notified the company of her decision to resign as a member of its board of directors, effective Oct. 16. Atkins’ resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.

@Work Group announced Eldridge Davis and Sophie Davis will own a new location of @Work Personal Services in Jackson, Tenn. @Work Group is a national staffing franchise.

Matt Becker and Amanda Becker are co-owners/strategic partners of the new Pridestaff office in Clearwater, Fla. PrideStaff is a national staffing franchise.

Labor Smart Inc. (OTCBB: LTNC), a provider of industrial staffing, elected James Robert "Bobby" Edmonds as the third member of its board of directors. Edmonds is principal product manager at ServiceNow, a cloud services company.

SolTech, an Atlanta-based software and app solution firm that also provides staffing and recruiting services, appointed Tim Smith as VP staffing services. Smith previously was president and COO of Thompson Technologies.

RSR Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based board and executive search firm, appointed Jeffrey von der Schulenburg as managing director in the firm’s headquarter office and a member of the firm's legal, regulatory, and compliance and financial services practices. He has more than 25 years of international executive search experience in the legal and financial services sectors. The firm also appointed Jim Whittle as principal in its Chicago office with its consumer goods and services and healthcare practices. Whittle most recently was managing director for The Business Resource. He also spent five years in executive search at Russell Reynolds Associates and AT Kearney in their Tokyo and Chicago offices.

Beacon Hill Pharma, Beacon Hill Staffing Group's new pharma specialty division, announced Division Director Liz Davies will lead its second location, which is north of Boston in Wakefield, Mass.

Diversified Search, a Philadelphia-based executive search firm, announced Henry Miller joined the firm as practice leader for the global life science practice, effective Nov. 1. Miller previously was senior VP and global life sciences practice leader with Solomon Page Group.

Options Group, an executive search firm serving the financial services industry, hired Richard Stein as partner. Stein previously was a New York-based partner with Caldwell Partners.

Switchgear Search & Recruiting announced Liz Brolick joined the firm as division director over staffing. The Tulsa, Okla.-based firm targets the engineering, finance and accounting and IT sectors

The Embassy, an event-staffing agency specializing in brand activations, named Stephanie Skunda as director of recruitment. She will oversee the Embassy’s national roster of brand ambassadors, product specialists and promotional models. Skunda most recently was senior recruitment manager at Marketing Werks.
