IBM (NYSE: IBM) received a 10-year contract valued at $123 million to replace the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ 50-year-old human resources application. The human resources system will serve the more than 300,000 Veterans Administration employees. The system will be implemented by the end of 2015.

CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A) will implement a new centralized voter registration database system for the state of California. The contract is valued at $38.75 million over four years. The system, VoteCal, will connect multiple state agencies and all 58 county elections offices to improve the efficiency of the voter registration process, according to the company.

Softchoice Corp. (TSX: SO) was awarded a $17.5 million contract for software support to the Marine Corps System Command in Quantico, Va., the U.S. Department of Defense announced April 30.

Wipro Ltd. (NYSE: WIT) announced it released the second phase of a program to transform All Nippon Airways’ aircraft parts and material management system. The action is a landmark in Wipro’s six-year partnership with the airline, according to the company. The first phase of the program began in 2009 and was completed in 2011.

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) was chosen by Tullow Oil to design and implement a new SAP solution to replace its accounting and supply systems. Tullow Oil is a London-based independent oil and gas exploration and production group.

SSP renewed and extended its relationship with Swinton, a U.K. insurance retailer, to provide IT solutions for Swinton’s U.K. branch network, call center and web-based opertions, supporting nearly 3,000 users.
