Capgemini taps North American exec as CTO

Capgemini Group appointed Lanny Cohen as global chief technology officer. Cohen will join the company’s executive committee as part of his new role.

Cohen formerly served as head of application services North America at Capgemini. The company tapped Tim Bridges to replace Cohen in that role.

“Lanny Cohen’s leadership and operational experience in helping to create a strong and successful Apps North America business will be key in working directly with me and the group leadership team,” Chairman and CEO Paul Hermelin said in a statement.

Capgemini is a Paris-based IT services firm. It posted revenue of €10.26 billion (US$16.58 billion) in its last fiscal year.
