Staffing firm acquires iSymphony VMS

WMS iSymphony Inc., a cloud-based vendor management system/managed service provider based in Houston, was acquired by Hamilton-Ryker IT Solutions, a Nashville-based information technology staffing provider.

The deal was announced by investment banking firm De Bellas & Co., which advised the seller. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“This is a strategic acquisition that will diversify our information technology offerings and provide the gateway into the VMS/MSP market,” said Hamilton-Ryker President Kelly McCreight. “The iSymphony staff will remain in place and will continue to operate as a vendor-neutral, stand-alone company.”

WMS iSymphony also provides compliance and payrolling services. The company was founded in 2004. iSymphony President Keith Patel will remain with the company.

Hamilton-Ryker was founded in 2002 and is based in Nashville. It focuses on information technology consulting and staffing.
